Blown tire likely cause of fatal accident PDF Print E-mail

Dauderie K. Cramer, 48, Pekin, was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident that took place just after 5:30 Saturday night.
According to the press release issued by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Cranmer was traveling east on State Road 60 when it appeared that the right rear tire of the 2004 Ford Mustang she was driving possibly blew out.
The report said the tire likely caused the the vehicle to go off the right side of the road.
The vehicle traveled approximatley 125 feet and struck a concrete culvert. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over and came to rest on its top.
James B. Cranmer received serious injuries and was flown to University of Louisville Hospital by Air Methods Heliocopter.
Deputy Bran Naugle worked the scene.
Sheriff Claude Combs, Chief Deputy Roger Newlon and Deputy Randy Lee assisted at the scene.
The Pierce/Polk fire department, Jackson Township Fire Department, Washington County EMS, Salem Fire Department and the Washington County Coroner’s office also assited at the scene.
