The following are a list of Halloween events in the area.
FSB of Floyds Knobs
Hosts Trunk or Treat
First Southern Baptist Church of Floyds Knobs will be hosting a Community Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 27th from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.  
Bring your trick or treaters in costume for candy, tattoos, balloons and a hay ride.   
This provides a safe, enjoyable alternative to standard trick or treating, going from house to house.  This outreach event is one of several that the church provides to the community throughout the year and hopes to show God’s love to a large crowd again this year.  If you have any questions, please contact the church at 812-923-7905.  The church location is at 4631 Lakeview Drive, Floyds Knobs, Indiana, which is right off of Highway 150.

Trunk-or-Treat at
Shepherd of the Hills
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and Preschool in Georgetown will be hosting its 3rd annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 27th from 4:00-6:00 on the lawn behind the parking lot.
This is a great, safe way to Trick-or-Treat. Along with getting candy, there will be games and other fun things for the kid to do.
Trunks of cars will be decorated, and this year the favorite trunk will be voted on by the participates and win a prize! Join us at 5231 State Road 62 (across from Polly Freeze).

Halloween at
the WC YMCA
Halloween at the YMCA will take place on Thursday, Oct. 25th, 6-8 pm at the Spooky Soccer Field. One side of the field will be spooky and the other will be lots of fun.
Truck or Treat at Salem Crossing
Salem Crossing, located on Connie Dr., in Salem, will host a Truck or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 25th. The event will take place 6-8 pm. Additional information is available by calling 883-1877.
Organizations Plan Trick orTreat Event
Numerous organizations will participate in a Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 27th, 6-8 pm at the Pioneer Village, located at the John Hay Center on E. Market St., in Salem.
This event is free to the community. Children can enjoy, cookies, treat bags, hot chocolate, candy and other activities. Additional information is available by calling the John Hay Center at 883-6495 or Salem Park and Rec at 883-2895 or The Salem Library at 883-5600.

Oktoberfest at Beck’s
Mill Oct. 27
If you enjoy campfire beans and cornbread, music, and an afternoon of fun in the country, the place to be Saturday, Oct. 27, is Beck’s Mill, the historic restored grist mill south of Salem.
Beck’s Mill is observing Oktoberfest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy open kettle apple butter, crafters, demonstrators and an artisans farmers market.
All ages can take part in a decorated pumpkin contest with prizes given in four divisions: ages 1 to 11, 12 to 16, adults 16 and older and groups.
Trails will be open for hiking and the mill will be grinding corn throughout the afternoon.

ICBC Trunk-or-treat
Indian Creek Baptist Church invites you to a Trunk or Treat Saturday, October 27 at 6:00pm lasting to 8:00pm.
With all the dangers in our world today, our church would like to provide a safe and fun place for kids to dress up and get some candy! Members of our church will be dressed up with their car trunks full of candy! Dress up and come say “trunk or treat”! We will also have a jump house and refreshments to keep you warm! Wesley Chapel offers
safe Halloween alternative
Costumes, candy, food, and fun headline the annual Harvest SHINE Festival for the public hosted by Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The activities for families will take place at Grant Line United Methodist Church, 4810 Grant Line Road in New Albany.
All activities inside and outside are free, including inflatables for the kids, face painting, balloon animals, trunk-or-treat goodies, and food. Inside, all ages will enjoy the popular black-light puppet show, which will be repeated throughout the evening.
Children are encouraged to wear costumes, and those attending are asked to park across the road at Grant Line Elementary School. Crossing officials will be on hand to ensure safety.

ROCKTOBERFEST
at Heartland Church
Heartland Church of the Nazarene will be hosting “Rocktoberfest,” their annual children’s fall celebration (for kids 12 and under), on Saturday, October 27, from 11am-1pm.
There will be games, a bonfire/food, trunk or treat, and MORE! Come join us for an afternoon of family fun! Heartland Church is located at 6901 Old Vincennes Road in Floyds Knobs, just past Floyd Central High School.

Trunk or Treat in Memphis
Memphis Christian Church will host their annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 27 beginning at 7:00 pm.
Other activities include hot chocolate, warming up at a bon fire, face painting, hayrides, marshmallow roasting and homemade soup & chili.
Everyone always welcome!

Trunt-or-treat at
Pekin United Methodist
Pekin United Methodist Church will be hosting trunk-or-treat on Sunday Oct. 28 from 2:30 to 4 in the church parking lot.
There will be games, hot chocolate, a clown, face paining  and more.
Those attending are asked to bring a canned food item for the Washington County Food Bank.
