| Borden XC teams win SAC titles |

The Borden High School girls’ varsity cross country team made histroy when they captured the school’s first girls’ cross-country SAC title, defeating Lanesville by five points.
The girls scored a total of 26, and Lanesville had 31. Receiving all-conference honors for Borden were : Freshman Brooklyn Agnew (second place), junior Shelby Kirchgessner (fourth place), and junior Abby Ellis (fifth place). The team’s two seniors Nikki Carter and Aspen Kirchgessner finished in 11th and 16th, respectively.. Henryville’s Sadie Spears won the race. Borden’s boys’ team also won SAC crown, totaling just 19 points. Lanesville finished second with 42 points. Receiving all-conference honors for the boys’ team were freshmen, Julien Magallanes (first place), senior Brian Eurton (thurd), juiniot Nathen Magallanes (fourth), junior George Tipker (fifth) and sophomore Gavin Tipker (sixth). Senior Michael Lynch finished in 12th and junior Brian McGee was 16th. |
