On Friday August 24, Officers with the Charlestown Police Department executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Berkley Road following a recent drug investigation.
K9 Kubo was called to the scene to search the residence for suspected drugs. K9 Kubo located approximately 28 grams, (nearly 1 ounce), of Crack Cocaine, a large amount of Marijuana mixed with “spice” or synthetic marijuana.  Officers located several types of prescription medications in the residence such as Hydrocodone, Percocet and Xanax, as well as digital scales and US Currency.
“Our Officers worked diligently on this narcotic investigation and we’re very pleased at what they discovered inside the residence. The individuals arrested at that residence are obvious drug dealers and our Officers worked hard to see them put behind bars and off the streets of Charlestown,” remarked Major Jason Broady.
The drug investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected in the future.
Anyone with information about possible drug activity is urged to contact the Charlestown Police Department, 812-256-6345 or by calling the anonymous tip line at 812-256-CHPD, (2473).
