|Ivy Tech classes open house tonight at Science Park|

An open house tonight (Wednesday) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. is planned by staff of Ivy Tech Community College at the Mid-America Science Park in Scottsburg.
Ivy Tech is the college through which classes are being offered this fall, both at the Science Park and the nearby Lifelong Learning Center. Instruction is offered to high school, college and adult students and begins on Monday, August 20.
Tonight's open house will include tours of teaching facilities and meeting instructors as well as seeing demonstrations of equipment. Linda Terrell with the College Cooperative and Ivy Tech classes at the Lifelong Learning Center will be present to explain the enrollment process for all classes offered.
Fall classes scheduled include renewable energy systems; solar, wind and geothermal systems; and computer fundamentals for technology at the Science Park. At the Lifelong Learning Center, persons may enroll for business, introduction to microcomputers, English composition, algebra, mathematical concepts and psychology.
Refreshments will be served. Visitors will enter on the Science Park's north side at its Training and Research entrance.
The Science Park is located at 821 South Lake Road South off State Road 56 West.
