Activities for the Washington County Farmers-Merchants Fair continue this week with the Open Class Dairy Show whioch took place Saturday, July 14. Dairymen from Washington and surrounding counties will lead their best animals for all to see.
Open class exhibits, commercial booths, and Brady Amusements will be open July 30 through August 4. Ride bracelets are again available at the special price of $18 for three nights of rides. Advanced sales of tickets is going on now Mid-Southern bracelets are good after 6 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights only. This price does not include afternoon rides on Kid’s Day, those rides will have a separate discount. Bracelets will also be available Thursday through Saturday, also at $18 each night.
Exhibits in the 4-H building will open at 5 pm on Friday, July 27, and remain open through Thursday, August 2. The week of Washington County Fair activities will kick off with the big Fair Parade on Sunday, July 29, at 3 pm. Entry blanks for the parade are available in the Fair Book, located at various places around the county.
