Indiana State Police needs help locating stolen property PDF Print E-mail

The Indiana State Police at Sellersburg is asking for the public’s assistance is finding stolen property. Earlier this month on June 3rd, a burglary took place at a residence on State Road #3 in Otisco, Clark County. Detective Dave Makowsky worked the case and was able to obtain an arrest warrant for Andrew M. Evans, 28, from Floyds Knobs, IN, for Burglary and Theft. Andrew M. Evans was arrested on the warrant in Scott County late this past Sunday evening.
Now that Andrew M. Evans has been arrested for the burglary, the Indiana State Police is trying to locate numerous pieces of stolen property. Below is a list of some of the items taken. One piece of property that should be easy for people to recognize is a black 1999 Lincoln Continental Town Car Limousine. A photo of a similar limousine is attached to this news release as a reference. There were also numerous collector’s coins, a Winchester Model #94, 22 Rifle, a Remington Black Hawk Model 41 Magnum Revolver handgun, a 52 inch Sony flat screen television, a Honda push lawn mower, a Stihl grass trimmer/weed eater, a complete set of Calloway golf clubs in a Calloway golf bag, a “Snap On” 14 drawer tool box, full of miscellaneous tools, and numerous other hand tools and pieces of electronic equipment. In total, over $30,000 dollars worth of items were taken from the residence.
