|Missing Charlestown man found safe|
The Charlestown Police Department would like to announce traffic changes for the Little League All Stars, which is taking place from June 27 thru July 21 at the Charlestown Little League Park.
During this time there will be no parking along Monroe Street from Fulkerson Drive to Lindsey Street. There will be no parking along Park Street from Market Street to Monroe Street.
The Police Department will have signs posted warning violators they will be cited and towed for illegally parking.
“We ask that motorists be aware of extra pedestrian traffic traveling to and from the Charlestown Little League Park along Monroe Street,” advised Major Jason Broady, Assistant Chief of Police. “Members of the Little League Board have advised us to expect a large amount of traffic due to All Stars, it is likely that the Little League won’t have sufficient parking for everyone planning on attending, those people will need to park somewhere else and walk to the park,” added Major Broady.
Officers will be working extra traffic patrol in and around the park enforcing traffic and parking laws.
