Sellersburg Celebrates! Hometown Heroes to be honored PDF Print E-mail

The dates for this year’s Sellersburg Celebrates! weekend festival at the Silver Creek Township Park are August 23, 24, 25. The theme is “Hometown Heroes”.
During the recent tornado experienced in the local area, many “heroes” jumped to the aide of their fellow friends, family members, and neighbors. The planning committee would like to recognize all organizations involved in the aide to their fellow business, school, and community members during this time. Area Veterans, Police, and Fire Departments will be highlighted in the “Hometown Heroes” Parade, along with many community members who assisted during this very trying time. The parade is on Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m. Please contact Rick Cannon with the Sellersburg Fire Department at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
