EHS claims sectional title PDF Print E-mail

The Eastern High School baseball team pulled off an impressive double-feature last Saturday in the Class 2A sectional at Providence.

The Musketeers won a thriller, 11-10 in eight innings against Paoli and then regrouped a few hours later to beat the host Pioneers, 6-5 in the championship game.
Dustyn Miller picked up the win in both games for Eastern.
He won the first game in relief and then won the second as a starter.
On offense, the Musketeers  scored all six run in the the fifth inning.
Now the Musketeers will battle a familiar foe in the first game of the Southridge regional at 11 a.m. Saturday when they take on Austin.
The winner of that game will play in the championship, which will take place at 8 p.m.
