Tornado Relief Fundraiser PDF Print E-mail

Tim Maudlin, a resident of Pekin who was lucky enough to survive the March 2 tornado (although it hit dangerously close to his house), works in the architecture department  at Power Creative.

He’s taking some time off from work to get this relief effort off the ground.
The effort is called T-shirts For Pekin, and is being sponsored by the East Washington Lions Club and a local business, the Ordinary Store.
Tim has designed a T-shirt, available in a wide range of adult and child sizes, that he and other volunteers are selling, with 100% of every donation going directly to tornado victims.
The East Washington Lions Club and other Lions Clubs in the area are contributing the money necessary to cover all production costs,
Pay Pal fees, and any other out-of-pocket expenses.
A Facebook page has been established (www.facebook.com/TShirtsForPekin) and already has more than 1,000 likes.
A website is up and running, too (www.tshirtsforpekin.org) and orders can be placed there online (info for sending cash donations is posted as well.) Orders have already been received from as far away as England!
Power Creative - has agreed to match all donations raised by T-Shirts For Pekin!
