?IU Southeast Theatre Department to hold auditions for fall production of The Shadow Box PDF Print E-mail
?    The Theatre Department at Indiana University Southeast is holding an open audition call for its Fall 2008 production of The Shadow Box on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, September 9 through 11 at 7 p.m. in the Robinson Theatre of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center on the IU Southeast campus, 4201 Grant Line Road in new Albany. Parts are available for four to five women and four to five men. Persons auditioning should prepare a short monologue of under one minute.
    A resume and headshot are preferred, but not necessary.
    In The Shadow Box, a Pulitzer Prize winning play by actor Michael Cristofer, three terminal cancer patients dwell in sperate cottages on a hospital’s grounds. The play dramatizes their anxieties and their coming to grips with the finality of their condition and a preordained future whose only imponderable is its exact length. The three are attended and visited by family and close friends.
