? ?    The Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County will give $350,000 in grants to benefit the Floyd County community in the Fall grant cycle. Grant applications are now being accepted. To be eligible to receive a grant, completed grant applications must be postmarked by September 30 and all previous final grant reports must be complete. Charitable organizations, educational institutions, and governmental agencies which benefit Floyd County citizens and fit grant guidelines are welcome to apply.
    Grant program guidelines, policies, and grant application forms are available on the Foundation’s new website,
www.horseshoefoundation.org. Paper copies of the applications and annual reports are available at the Carnegie Center for Art and History on Charlestown Road and I-265.
    It is recommended that all potential applicants download or obtain new copies of the grant application packages at any of these locations since changes have been made to the application.
    The Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County, formerly Caesars Foundation was established in 199 by Caesers Indiana, in partnership with Floyd County and New Albany officials as a way to provide an additional funding source for community organizations in Floyd County. Caesers Indiana has now rebranded as Horseshoe Southern Indiana. It provides resources to nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and governmental agencies for the benefit of residents in New Albany and Floyd County. The Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County has awarded $5 million to local organizations in Floyd County through the two annual grant cycles, with a total of $15.8 million including scholarships and major grant.
