More Candidates file PDF Print E-mail

Names continue to be added to the list for the primary election in may.
This is a look at the candidates who have filed since last week’s issue of The Washington County Edition.
Robert D. Hoard filed to run for precint committee.
Frank Nobles is a Republican who will run for the county council.
David Brown has filed to seek re-election for the District 3 Commissioner’s seat.
Harry Baker, Albert Burton and Danny Libka are all Republicans who filed for precint comm.
Kenneth R. Armstrong is running as for the Republican State Convention.        
This is a list of candidates who had filed and were listed in the January 18 issue of The Washington County Edition.
Democrat Shirley Batt will seek re-election as county clerk.
County Coroner Rondale Brishaber, who is a Republican, has filed to run for that position again.
Republican Jeffrey Souder is running for county surveyor.
Three filed to run for the three county council at-large seats, they are Republican Phil McIntyre, Republican Max Greene and Republican Randall K. Bills.
Bills also filed to run for the precinct committee, and the State Convention Delegate.
Republican Jason Cockerill is also running for the precinct committee and as a state convention delegate.
Republican Robert “Bob” Woodward is seeking re-election as county treasurer.
Republican Kenneth R. Armstrong file to run for the precinct committee.
The deadline to file candidacy for the Primary Election, which will be Tuesday, May 8, is by noon on February 10, 2012.
Locally the primary will have voters selecting a candidate for President of the United States, US Senate, US Congress District 9, Governor, Clerk of the Circuit Court, County Treasurer, County Coroner, County Surveyor, County Commissioner District 1, County Commissioner District 3, County Council Member At Large – 3 seats, State Convention Delegate and Precinct Committeeman for the Republican Party.
The general election will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012.
