?Borden youth football to open home field PDF Print E-mail
?    The Borden youth football league would like to invite the community to its first ever home games of the Borden youth football Braves.
    They are planning a ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate the new football field inside the Borden track on Sunday August 24th, the ribbon cutting will be held before the first game at 1:30p.m.
    The Braves Pee Wee ( 3 and 4 grades) playing against Henryville at 2 p.m.
    The Braves Juniors ( 5 and 6 grades) playing against Henryville at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Seniors (7 and 8 grades) also playing Henryville at 5 p.m.
    The admission cost for all home games are $2 for adults and $1 for kids. There will also be concessions available.
    The Borden Youth Football League is in its second year with over 100 kids in five divisions playing from flag to cheerleader to all tackle divisions.
    The league would like to thank Borden High School principal Lisa Nale and athletic director Toby Cheatham for their support and permission to develop the field.
    The league still needs donations and sponsorships to support this season.
