Traffic stop yields dope and money in Clark County PDF Print E-mail

On May 3, shortly after 12:48 PM, a trooper from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg stopped a gold 1999 Nissan for a traffic violation on Interstate 65 in Clark County, near the 22 Mile Marker. As the trooper was talking to the driver he could sense something just wasn’t right. Indiana State Police K-9, “Kilo” was deployed to the scene. Once at the scene “Kilo” alerted to the presence of possible narcotics in the stopped vehicle.

A search of the vehicle yielded suspected Marijuana, Cocaine and a Schedule Four Controlled Substance. Also located in the vehicle was over $12,000 in U.S. Currency. Broderick E. Guy, 35, from Columbus, was arrested and charged with Dealing in Cocaine, C Felony; Dealing in Marijuana, A Misdemeanor; Possession of a Schedule Four Controlled Substance, D Felony; Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony and Possession of Paraphernalia, A Misdemeanor.

Broderick E. Guy was incarcerated in the Clark County Jail.
