The United Way of Scott County, Inc. will host their 2011 Annual Dinner on Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 at the Coffee House, on the Square in Scottsburg, beginning at 6pm.  April Ramoni, Executive Director of the United Way of Scott County, invites the public to attend the dinner to learn more about the UWSC and to meet staff, members of the Board of Trustees and heads of organizations funded by the United Way.
The Allocations Committee will be announcing their decisions for agency funding in 2011.  April comments, “This is the very core of what the United Way is about and it is so exciting to be able to share this process with the community.  The Allocations Committee had a very challenging task this year as there are so many worthy organizations in Scott County.”
Gary Satterly, fSenior Pastor of Elevation Church Ministries and a Motivational Speaker will address the dinner guests. “We are so privileged to have Pastor Satterly speak at our dinner and so blessed to have him on our board.
If for no other reason, members of the community should attend the Annual Dinner just to hear him speak.”  Satterly is a skilled Motivational Speaker and Trainer.
He has offered motivational training courses to many local businesses and organizations including Scott Memorial Hospital, Scottsburg High School and the Scott County Chamber of Commerce.
Dinner will be served by the Coffee House staff and entertainment for the event will be provided by members of the IUS Concert Choir, including a member of the UW Board.
Tickets may be obtained for a donation of $10 by calling the United Way office at 812.752.2586 or you may stop by the UW office at 134 N Gardner Street.
