Marc Cook, 33, of Salem was arrested over the weekend and charged with a Class D Felony of dissemination of matter harmful to a minor.
According to the probable cause affidavit obtained from the Washington County prosecutor’s office, Cook sent inappropriate pictures to a minor.
The minor’s parents informed the Washington County Sheriff’s Department of the pictures and Cook was arrested.
Cook was later released from the Washington County Detention Center after posting a $1,500 full-cash bond.
Washington County Deputy Prosecutor Blaine Goode said a motion will be filed in Circuit Court to revoke the bond because Cook still has charged pending from an incident that happened in October of 2009.

In that case, Cook was charged with Child Molesting, a Class C Felony. He posted a $5,000 full cash bond on that charge.
The Class C felony from 2009 carries a possible 2-8 year sentence and the most recent Class D felony charge carries a possible sentence of six months to three years.
“If convicted of both charges, the sentences could run concurrent,” Goode said.
