On Sept. 23, the Borden High School boys’ cross country team won the Paoli Invitational. 
There were 20 schools competing and the Braves edged out Northeast Dubois by five, and Corydon finished in third with 19 points more than Borden.
Hunter Williams was runner up, and the following runners received medals  other boys received medals Travis Scott-ninth, Brian Eurton 17th, George Tipker 22nd and Nathen Magallanes 29.
The winning boy was Josh Genet from Northeast Dubois.
Abby Ellis also received a medal finishing in 22nd place.
On Sept. 28, at the New Washington Invitational, Borden won by 41 points finishing with only 28 total points. 
There were 12 schools competing. BHS runners who received hardware were,   Williams third, Scott, fourth, Eurton, sixth, Magallanes, seventh, Tipker, eighth and Michael Lynch-20th.
The second-place team was Austin, and Scottsburg was third.
