| Kiwanis free pancake and sausage breakfast to be held August 23 |

The Silver Creek Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a free pancake breakfast in conjunction with the Sellersburg Celebrates Parade on August 23 from 7 to 10 a.m. next to the Sellersburg Police Department on New Albany Street in Sellersburg. The free pancake breakfast is open to the public, monetary donations are welcomed. Kiwanis is a world wide non-profit organization for individuals desiring personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of their communities. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Through Kiwanis membership, individuals can give of themselves, their talent, time and love to those with human needs. Community betterment projects are financed through fund-rasing activities.
