CPD Reserves to host car show and burn out contest August 15 PDF Print E-mail

The Charlestown Police Reserves will host their annual car show and burn out contest on Sunday, August 15 at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds.
The event will feature rods, customs and classics and trophies, dash plaques and prizes plus vendors, raffles and concessions. The event promises to be fun for the entire family!
There will also be a Southern Indiana Police Cruisers display contest.
The car show registration will be a $20 donation. Those who pre-register before August 10 will receive two entries for the 1995 Mustang they are giving away, a dash plaque and a t-shirt.
The burn out is open to any and all and will also be $20.
The car giveaway, a 1995 Ford Mustang, according to Albert “Tubby” Purcell, “the motor needs work but the body and interior are in good condition.”
