West Washington senior Josh Green has been selected to play in the annual East West All-Star Game in Crawfordsville, Ind.

The game will be April 17 at 8 p.m.

Green said he was pleased to be selected to the team, which will be coached by Orleans Head Coach Tom Bradley.

In addition to being selected for the all-star game, Green earned a spot on the All-Patoka Lake Athletic Conference Team and finished his career as a Senator as the school's sixth all-time leading scorer.

Green was part of two winning seasons at West Washington and considers his high school career a success.

“I mean you always want to win more,” he said. “I would have liked to have won conference and sectional and what I really wanted was a county championship, but other then that I am happy with how it turned out. The school has only had 10 winning seasons and I was part of two of them.”

Green, who is the son of Jessica and Matt Green, plans to continue playing basketball at the collegiate level.

Earlham College is one of the schools he is considering. He said he plans to make a visit to that school this week.

He said he plans to pursue a degree as an athletic trainer.
