     Participating residents in Washington County raised over $15,000 for the babies by walking in the March of Dimes: March for Babies on Sunday, October 11 at Salem Speedway. Walkers participated individually or part of corporate, youth, or family team.
    This year’s top teams included:
   1. Washington County Substance Abuse Council
   2. 3 Little Blessings
   3. Trevor’s Troopers
   4. Morgan’s Raiders
   5. First Harrison Bank
    The Top Walker was John Fultz with the Washington County Substance Abuse Council. This year’s Top Youth Team was the Salem High School Spanish Club. And the Top New Team was 3 Little Blessings, the team of the 2009 March for Babies Ambassadors: Jenna, Rachel, and Will Little, who are the children of Jill and Lance Little.
    Thanks to our local sponsors Salem Lions Club, National City Bank now a part of PNC, First Harrison Bank, Mid-Southern Savings Bank, Hoosier Uplands, and Highland United Methodist Church.
