    ??A group of 25 of the prettiest little ladies anyone has ever seen will be competing this Monday, July 14, at the 2008 Scott County Fair to win the title of Little Miss of Scott County.
    Boys entered in the 2008 Little Master of Scott County will compete first starting at 6 p.m., followed by their feminine counterparts dressed in their best. Both contests are sponsored and organized by the Pilot Club of Scott County, which uses funds raised from the event for philanthropic projects.
    Following these competitions, the audience is encouraged to stay and watch the 2008 Miss Scott County Fair Queen pageant, another favorite of the annual Scott County Fair. Cost for the evening will be $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Contestants will be admitted free of charge.
    Little Miss competitors include, in alphabetical order:
    LARAINE PAIGE ARBUCKLE, 5, daughter of Tammy and Lance Arbuckle of Scottsburg. This cutie enjoys reading with her mom, spending time with family and friends, playing games and swimming with her best friend Krista. She has a kitten named Topper.
    ALLYSON F. BARGER, 5, is the daughter of Lynnette and Shawn Barger of Austin. Allyson just celebrated her birthday and is very active. She enjoys gymnastics, soccer, golf, singing, playing the guitar, dancing and fishing. She really likes the Tv show “Hannah Montana.” She has a dog named Belle and two goldfish named Miley and Lilly.
    FAITH BARRETT, 4, is the daughter of Valerie and Robert Goens of Scottsburg. Faith has enjoyed attending Vacation Bible School, singing Hannah Montana songs, dancing and making friends. Her favorite hobby is catching butterflies. She has a black cat named Hallie.
    TAYLOR BOWLING, 6, is the daughter of Melody and Kennith Bowling of Austin. Taylor loves cheer and tumbling classes as well as music in general and dancing. Her pets are Roxy and Rex.
    JENNA BUCKNER, 4, is the daughter of Kelly and Bill Buckner of Scottsburg. Jenna likes to swim with her mom, dad and sister as well as dancing. She has a menagerie at home, Digger the hamster, Reese Cup the cat, Rainbow the hermit crab and Flipper her tadpole.
    VIVIAN LEE COLLINS, 5, is the daughter of Jennifer Hutchinson of Austin and Robert Collins of Commiskey. Vivian loves the Disney princesses and the TV personality Hannah Montana. She enjoys playing with her Bratz dolls. She also just turned five years old and had a Hannah Montana birthday party with friends and family members.
    LENSEY S. COUCH, 4½, is the daughter of Patricia Couch of Austin and Dale Couch of Little York. Lensey loves to dance, sing swim and make new friends. She also likes animals, including dogs, cats, bunny rabbits and baby pigs.
    EMILY ELIZABETH EVANS, 4, is the daughter of Tammy Hall and Tom Hall, both of Scottsburg. Singing and dancing are high on Emily’s list of favorite things. So is caring for her cat Sockie, playing with Barbie dolls and hosting tea parties. Her hobbies include playing T-ball, arts and crafts and play-acting.
    HANNAH LOVE-LOUISE FIELDS, 5, is the daughter of Michelle and James Fields of Scottsburg. Hannah loves to dance, especially tap and ballet for which she takes lessons. She also is a natural singer and performer. She rides her bike, likes to play outdoors and has a cat named Emmy that is her good friend.
    MAYCI FURNISH, 4, is the daughter of Tiffany Estep and Jordan Furnish, both of Austin. Mayci is a cheerleader for All Star Tumbling. She likes to play outdoors, swim and ride her four-wheeler but most of all she loves tumbling. Mayci has an older brother Peyton and a younger brother Brayden.
    MIKAELA DANAE GLASS, 6, is the daughter of Lynne and Marvin Glass of Underwood. Mikaela likes to play in her sandbox and help bake cookies, She’s interested in singing and dancing and likes to grow flowers. Her pets are Jasmine the dog and cats named Kitty and a stray she has named Hammy Sandwich Glass.
    CARLY DANIELLE HELTON, 4, is the daughter of Sarah and Eric Helton of Scottsburg. Carly likes playing with her sister Cadee and their dog Smokey. She also enjoys dressing up, coloring, swimming and camping.
    TAYLOR JACKSON, 5, is the daughter of Susan and James Jackson of Scottsburg. Her hobbies include softball and swimming. She’s got three dogs to keep her company, Toby a golden retriever, Dax a Scottish terrier and Miley a French pug and two cats, Sassy and Tucker.
    AVERY KENDALL, 5, is the daughter of Amberley and Jason Kendall of Scottsburg. Avery loves to dance at Lisa’s Dance Studio. She cheers for Indiana All-Stars. She also enjoys riding her four-wheeler and playing with her little brother. She has a cat named Rascal.
    ABIGAYLE N. KRIEGER, 4, is the daughter of Amanda Krieger and Douglas M. Krieger, both of Scottsburg. Singing and dancing are high on Abigayle’s list of favorite things to do. She also likes to swim, color and play. She has two Siamese cats, Oliver and Bailey and an English mastiff puppy named Ace.
    MADYSEN LAFFERTY, 4, is the daughter of Kelly and Matt Lafferty of Scottsburg. She loves to play with her Barbies and her favorite color is pink. She likes to swim and she has two cats, Xavier and Curly.
    JORDYN LIVESAY, 5, Scottsburg, is the daughter of Julie and Jim Livesay of Scottsburg. This little lady loves to dress up, swim and play with all sorts of animals. She has already decided to become a teacher and a cheerleader. She has a puppy named Molly.
    TEHYA McCURRY, 4, is the daughter of Tanya McCurry of Scottsburg. Tanya likes to fish, play dress-up, sing and dance. She really likes horses and she has a dog named Itty Bitty and a cat named Smokey.
    EMMA GRACE NOBLE, 4, is the daughter of Belinda and Ronnie Houchens of Scottsburg. She wants to be a cheerleader when she grows up. Right now, Emma enjoys dressing up, swimming, riding her Harley bike, dancing and riding her Papaw’s four-wheeler. She has a dog named Gracie.
    RACHEL REESOR, 4, is the daughter of Brandy Gregory of Scottsburg. Pretty Rachel is a good swimmer, and she also enjoys being a ballerina. She loves dogs.
    SARAH ROBBINS, 5, is the daughter of Kim and Joe Robbins of Austin. Sarah is a cheerleader at All-Star Tumbling, and she loves to swim, play tennis and golf with her dad. She has a toy poodle named Bella.
    KENDALL LEE SMITH, 5, is the daughter of Jenny and Greg Smith of Austin. Kendall enjoys playing with her little sister Emma, planting vegetables in the family’s garden and playing with her toys. She is very excited about going to kindergarten in August.
    EMMALINE “EMMA” JOY VERNON, 4, is the daughter of Sandy and Kevin Vernon of Scottsburg. Emma attends First Baptist Church of Scottsburg and enjoys listening to the Christian radio station K Love and singing. She loves her dog Angel and her two kittens, Alby and Aurora.
    ZOE ZELLERS, 5, is the daughter of Carla and Scott Zellers of Scottsburg. Zoe likes to watch Nascar events with her dad, play on her new playset and swim. She also enjoys playing softball, soccer and basketball. She has a brother Wyatt and an older sister Lisa. Her two pets are Molly the cat and Izzy the dog. Zoe has already decided she’s going to be a doctor when she grows up.
    ALLISON RANA ZOLLMAN, 5, is the daughter of Rachelle and Jerry Zollman of Scottsburg. Allison is an All-Star cheerleader and she loves to dance, camp, fish and swim. She likes Hannah Montana, playing with Barbie dolls and playing soccer and T-ball. Her pets include a rabbit named Bugsy and cats Boomer and Leo.
    Everyone is invited to come out to the Scott County Fair on Monday night and watch the Little Miss and Little Master of Scott County competition.
