Louisville man dies in one vehicle accident in Charlestown PDF Print E-mail

    The Charlestown Police Department is investigating a one vehicle fatality that occurred Saturday morning at approximately 6:05 a.m. just east of the intersection of State Road 62 and State Road 3 in Charlestown.
    Three adult males were transported from the accident scene to the U of L Trauma Center in critical condition.
    Two of the three are currently believed to have been ejected from a red 2004 Ford Mustang during the incident; the third male was extricated from the Mustang by Charlestown Fire and Rescue.
    Robert D. Reynolds, 19, of Louisville, was later pronounced dead at U of L.
    Cory B. Flint, 26, of Madison and Brent Hamilton, 18, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, at last press time remain in critical condition at U of L.
    Excessive speed is being investigated as a possible contributing factor of the crash. No other information was available for release as of press time.
